How To Defend the Catholic Faith
Faith Facts and Figures
Catholic Apologetics International conducts apologetic and evangelization
seminars throughout the United States and various foreign countries.
If you are interested in having us do a seminar at your church or
group function, below are the facts and figures.
1. The seminars will have three sessions which will take place
over a two day period, Friday and Saturday. The suggested time schedule
is as follows: Friday night: 7:00 to 9:00; Saturday morning: 9:30
to 11:30 or Saturday afternoon: 2:00 to 4:00
2. Each two hour session is comprised of one hour of lecture and
one hour of questions and answers. For example, Friday night would
include lecture from 7:00 to 8:00, and questions and answers from
8:00 to 9:00. Saturday morning and afternoon will follow the same
format.
3. During each session, lessons will be given on how to defend
the Catholic faith by primarily using Scripture. Each two-hour session
will address a series of topics and issues such as: Faith and Works,
Doctrines of Mary, Sola Scriptura, Purgatory and Indulgences, Praying
to Saints, The Eucharist, Baptism, The Pope and Infallibility, Predestination
and Free Will, The Sacrifice of the Mass, Mortal and Venial Sins,
and many other topics.
4. The cost for the two-day seminar is $750.00, plus travel and
lodging expenses for the teacher. At the seminar, we will ask the
participants for a donation to offset the travel and lodging costs,
100% of which will be returned to you. We will also sell our books
and tapes at the seminar. In order to secure a reservation for a
seminar, a 50% deposit ($375.00) is required when you send us the
dates of your seminar (see below).
5. CAI will bring its assortment of book and tapes to sell to your
parishioners. Presently, we have five books, authored by our teachers,
